COMMUNIQUE
MESSAGE FROM HIS EXCELLENCY THE AMBASSADOR OF THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, CANADA AND MEXICO ON THE OCCASION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
On the occasion of International Women's Day celebrated on March 8 each year around the world, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Central African Republic to the United States of America, Canada and Mexico takes this opportunity to pay tribute to all the women of the Central African diaspora residing in the USA, Canada and Mexico, as well as to all those around the world. The theme chosen this year at the national level is GENDER EQUALITY FOR PEACE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. Central African women have suffered more strongly from the impacts of the recurrent crises that have shaken our country. Despite everything, they remained and remain the foster mothers of the Nation. His Excellency the Ambassador urges the women of the Central African Community (of the countries in the area of jurisdiction) to work selflessly, by organizing themselves more like others in order to defend their rights, to make their voices heard in major decision-making bodies. This will help build a culture of equality and empowerment for future generations to come. "May this day be an opportunity to highlight your contributions to the social, cultural, economic and political development of our dear beautiful country, the Central African Republic". The Embassy remains willing and available to work in collaboration with the women's structures that exist within the various Diaspora Offices, for a better consideration of your expectations. Long live International Women's Day on March 08, 2022! Long live the Central African women of the diaspora.
